National Technical Approvals (DIBt)
The Textiles & Flooring Institute GmbH is accredited by the Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik as testing laboratory, inspection and certification body within the scope of National Technical Approvals.
The accreditation refers to
Fire testing and accreditation
as well as to the health related certification of floor coverings
The basis for the determination of the fire class according to EN 13501 are tests with the radiant panel test device (EN ISO 9239-1). The health-related evaluation according to DIBt is mainly based on the test chamber method for construction products.
